Electronic Moisture Absorber + HYGROMETER + Airtight container
Today I got my octopus moisture absorber for RM70 at lowyat.net, this is budget style of keeping DSLR in good condition from fungus.
Good thing about this product is rechargeable, save money in long term, and no need to buy those “thirsty hippo” thingy.
Because of its portability, you can even use for traveling by putting it in your camera bag, how convenience :)
(the silica gel in the middle)Red color indicate the need to recharge, only blue color is ready to use.

Sup guys, I have been away from blogging for a long time because there are so many things happening every week. At first, I realize that most call, sms and emails mostly related to academic assignment.. Sleepless for many nights, even have to wake up at 3am for several days. But the truth is that I always mess up with my time, heck I don’t even plan what I going to do an hour later… I always want to do a schedule but I don’t feel like doing it.
The best moment happen yesterday was that all my presentations in this semester are over!! Yeaaaaah!! Now can concentrate on my last assignment and revise for my 2 final papers…
After final can go enjoy and take pictures :D in Singapore..can’t wait to enter universal studios Singapore.fuhh
Last but not least, going to watch Harry Potter TOMOLO n ala carte buffet!!

Does culture affect us?
Often, when I login into my facebook, I see lots of my friends express displeasure on their assignments and exams due to time constraint or uncooperative team members. It is understandable because I myself have been gone through those tough times.
I believe it is my country that screws up the education teaching styles. Thinking back, I can lay back during the primary and secondary school. But now, university is totally reverse from what I experience back then.
I finally understand a bit why some local students went abroad for future studies rather than doing it locally. Malaysia culture can affect us mentally and physically, which is on the disadvantage side. Why culture so important? Because we grown by how we brought up and not to forget school is our second home where we spend hours on it. Ever wonder why some people like to take work home? According to au news, generation Y is the cause; further read :http://www.news.com.au/business/were-cutting-our-hours-but-taking-work-home-thanks-to-generation-y-influence/story-e6frfm1i-1225929733368
Living in slow pace country really suffers us in the future. It is better not to follow them but it is difficult to change too.. However it is possible as long we know what best for us.

Badminton racquet's
My friend Han bought a new badminton racquet last week. It cost him RM220+ include grip and string. (li ning HC1000A, Yonex BG65 titanium). He is so crazy with his obsession to the badminton sports. Keep bugging me for few days about the stencil ink. To be true, even yonex distributor in Malaysia doesn’t sell it and only can get in Singapore or UK/US.
Before the yonex stencil ink
After the ink
But that doesn’t stop my friend’s persistent. Moreover, he told me that badminton racquet is like a life to him. Luckily I came out with an idea by replacing the stencil ink with permanent marker. Lolz.. I don’t know it will shorten the life span of the string but as long he is happy, I will be glad.

What the Fish!?!
So today is 13th and 15th of August will be a farewell day to Sibu and Welcome back to Kuching again. Before leaving Sibu, we had our last meal together in café-café again, we order the usual food which was delicious, the best mee mamak and side dish.
Plum sauce chicken
Mushroom soup
Mango Ice cream
After that we go catch fish, or tadpole because I myself can’t differential it. But 1 thing I know, we look stupid with dustpan and big scissor to catch fishes.
WTF are they holding?
Do you know dustpan can use for this too?
This what we do next..
more spot to catch haha..but mostly all small size only.
filter the fish out from the water. so that we can transfer them into new water. I know its look kinda fail lolz. no offense to fish lover.
closer view lolz.
yea new home, but sadly some dead in the filter process.

Taman Rimba Bukit Lima
The entrance taken from inside
Welcome board
This morning my father and I went out to the reserve forest park located in Sibu. It is difficult to reach as there no much signboard but somehow we manage to find it. Most of the people went there to exercise coz you can feel and breathe the nature surrounding, what can you expect from forest?
Well, when I keep moving on, I kind of feel like finish the track for once without questioning myself how far it is. As I keep moving, I can feel it is never end, there’s no arrow pointing, but luckily theres number mark on the wood. Unfortunately, it is mark how far have you walk, not how far before you reach the exit. Anyway it is a good exercise for my legs after sitting at home for so long. I finish the track and I can assume it is 6km.
A long journey
along the way
Trying to do macro shot
Rainbow on the bottom haha :D theres no editing in this pic except saturation color.
Global warming!!

Another day of my life
So the wait for the bag have ended, been waiting for a week, every email that I request for a simple thing, they keep reply me “we will do our best”. All I want to ask is tracking number, nothing else and they can’t answer my simple request due to the fact that it is supplier who sends it to me, not the seller.
front view
view from the top
the comfortable straps
Human do mistake, so do my seller who have some kind of “mistake” which she suppose to send out my parcel on Monday but delay till Thursday. What I want to say is that we can’t expect anything to be arrived on time, and we need lots of patient to deal with robot’s reply.
During the evening time, Kuok Han and I go find some mee mamak to eat but sadly none of the restaurant we went open at 2pm. However that didn’t stop our hunger for food, so we go to supermarket and buy some uncooked food to be cook.
Nowadays, it is easy to make a cake with this
using 1/3 of the mixed flour. thats y its look very thin.
Hot and Spicy chickenz
So, today Kuok Han and I do cooking in the kitchen. We have fried chickens, friend fries, and coffee cake. All for less than RM20. Enjoice very much.

The impact of Iphone
Iphone, What the worse thing about it is that you can see the haters all around the forum nowadays.
What the iphone user said:
-when you want to book a table in a fancy restaurant, you can book it thru your iPhone.
-when you want to check in your flight, you can check in using you iPhone.
-when you want to read a magazine, you can read em thru your iPhone.
-the possibilities are endless with the iPhone capabilities.
-iPhone is thruly a winrar phone. have you gotten your iPhone today?
-the android platform is an imitation of the apple's. apple is the leader who leads the innovation, others are all just followers.
-iPhone is for educated people who appreciate good stuff in life. If u always careless, don't bother.
-I seriously don't get the appeal of blackberries (in the consumer space). They are OUTCLASSED by everything from iphone/Andriod/Palm. I get it, with the business space (security, work issued, mandatory etc). But I know A LOT of people that have them as personal phones. I'd say more than half of status updates are tagged from a blackberry. And I have no idea why.
-I think they sell for two reasons, A) Ignorant non professional folks who THINK that by having a blackberry makes them look grown up and PROFESSIONAL. B) Those same non professional people who crave to look professional are on a shoe string budget and like the idea of free messaging with BBM.
-Oh yeah, you're a BB user aren't you? You can throw that piece of crap out of your window now.
What the haters said about it:
-android phones also can.
Yeah, it is to say iphone is superior gadget, with the saying goes ”There's an app for that too”. The question is will you hoop into bandwagon also.

Winning Bid
Yeah! Win a bid 2 days ago in one of the infamous buy and sell website in Malaysia, which was http://lelong.com.my/
Bought 5 things this week, which was 3 Liquid mouse and 2 binary led watches, which was not mine at all. But I did a free service for my friends to help them to order it, include take risk.
Led watch showing 4.10pm
Youtube Video: Unboxing Disco Light in Liquid Optical Mouse
So, I want to share to you all about the possible tricks that used by the seller who sell at an auction.
Most of the time when I see a dirt cheap start price like 1 dollar (assume it worth more than 100 dollar ). Three things come into my mind, it is either promotion of the new product (which is rare), or create a duplicate account to bid own item to increase the price (using two account to bid own item to create an attention to other potential buyer), or the last trick (which is very very common use by nasty seller) triple charge you the courier service( but in some case, it is including handling and packaging).
However, when it comes to an end, no matter what tricks seller put into it, either it is dirty or cheating, it’s still a business!! Everyone want to fight, business is a war.

Borneo Cultural Festival 2010
Shoot shoot shoot… from below and above their eyes level. One good thing about DSLR and EVENT is that you can go to restricted area where it is in front of the stage. There’s no barrier stopping you to shoot.
From what I learnt, there’s no time for you to move your tripod or monopod when taking photos of performances, every second counts. Continuous shooting mode is a must rather than option because you don’t want to miss a single moment. Besides that, on the crop sensor 1.6x camera body, 18mm to 200mm is a good length to capture whole stage and 200mm for the head shoulder shots. Due to the crowd, it is hard for me to keep changing lens, I rather took face shot than anything else, so I stick with my budgeted lens, canon 55-250mm IS lens.

Wedding Slideshow Video
What is the best software for editing video with full of ease and user friendly interface?
Well, I honestly will choose CyberLink PowerDirector and Sony Vegas Pro. Both software work great on its own. Well I not bias about others but based on my 5 years interest in video editing. In the past, I use windows movie maker, which is very easy to use, then move to photodex proshow producer for more special effect. Nevertheless, both of them are good enough for simple slideshow video. But with Cyberlink, you can do beyond your imagination, and hundreds of effect to be unveil, even the infamous function such as reduce shakiness of your recording video, isn’t that awesome?
This is the first video slideshow I did it with cyberlink powerdirector and sony vegas pro. Basically, the bride is my sister :)

new blog
Hey I’m back, yesterday I had a great day with my friends, we watching The legend is born : Ip Man.
Oh btw, you guys should check out my new website, http://ourinterest.net/
You might think why I need to have another blog since I can blog anything here. Well I just decided to post about our interest/hobby activities there and with some of my friends input as well. Why? because I would like to make a compilation about it for the future reference.
The purpose for that site are mainly on, share to the world what we are interest in and to help each other together.
How is that possible?
Well, at first you post about your hobby/interest inside the blog, then we will give constructive comment about it, by that we can help you and you can help us. Don’t forget that you can even advertise your personal blog for every post you submit :D
Now, what make me think of this concept? Well our limitation to learn is endless, we should not just limit our knowledge with our surrounding but we should open our mind to the world and learn more what we good at and what we not really good at. These days it’s hard to find a friend who will share every bit of knowledge you need to know, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get it, because in internet, we will meet differences kinds of people with different perspective view in life. As the saying "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever," is a famous quote by Gandhi.
I have meet few people who totally have no other interest than playing computer games and hanging out with friends during free times. What’s more? They complaint about their life is too boring with these same activities for many years. When I ask them to venture into some new hobby, they might just give an excuse like “I’m not going to do this, because it’s too expensive’ or ‘I don’t see a reason why I need it”. It’s not they just reject it but I think they just need something to impress them what so “awesome” by venture into new interest. That’s the reason why you will see those teenagers like to follow the trend of other people. For example, you change your phone to touch screen phone, then the next day, your friend will buy the touch screen phone as well and this goes on like a chain. The question I’m doubt about are “that really a good venture” for now or future or both? What can you benefit from that trend? Pride or Skill?
That’s not what I’m worry about, but what I most worry about is that when my friend have a minimal interest field. It will make their life have more limitation as they only focus on particular field. For a comparison, I ask my both of my friends, one who have less interest in hobby and the other who are hobbyist. When I ask my friend who have less hobby in their life about what choice do they have beside taking the course they are studying now, he replied me that he have no idea how to move on if that happens. On the other hand, my other friend, he replied me that he have many road to choose in life because he have many knowledge in most of his interest field.
Try to remember and recall back what have done for all these years. It is benefiting you for now and future? Or it is just for enjoyment for now. You will never know what you can do until you try.

Bukit Aup Jubilee Park, Sibu
Quote: In old days, Bukit Aup was a worshiping place for the locals. It's also the tallest land spot in Sibu. On top of the tower at Bukit Aup you'll be able to view the town quite significantly as land in Sibu are quite flat. It's now a recreational park where everyone gets to feed the koi fish and to leisurely walk around the decorated recreational hill park..
So I went there with my father to watch the sunrise.

Free Netbook from TM
Halo guys, this morning I received free netbook from tm streamyx which I subscribe the last few weeks for the coolunipack offer. It was a great mini netbook eventhough it is less responsive but as long it can act as computer then it is more than enough.. ignore the small resolution part coz it is very annoying to keep scrolling vertically when surfing net.
